PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS, Detective Peter Grindrod became a police officer in March of 2001, was promoted and then assigned to the Detective Bureau in January of 2006; and

WHEREAS, Detective Peter Grindrod is a skilled investigator, who is able to develop information and complete investigations of incidents that would otherwise be very difficult to solve; and

WHEREAS, Detective Peter Grindrod has worked to solve several high profile cases including larcenies at local businesses, home burglaries and the “cell phone” thefts; and

WHEREAS, Detective Peter Grindrod does an outstanding job every day – earning the respect from not only his fellow officers, but from members of the community as well; and

NOW THEREFORE, I, James R. Miron, Mayor of the Town of Stratford, do hereby proclaim April 26, 2007 as Detective Peter Grindrod Day in the Town of Stratford.
