PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS, Pivot Ministries is a Christ-centered, Bible-based ministry for men which treats drug and alcohol addiction as a spiritual problem and yields life changing results; and

WHEREAS, Pivot Ministries is a highly structured 16-month program for men at least 18 years of age who have a desire for change, a willingness to be held accountable and to be under authority; and

WHEREAS, Pivot Ministries’ healing program consists of four phases to incorporate the guiding principles of acceptance, discipline and structure in a supporting and loving atmosphere; and

WHEREAS, Pivot Ministries’ mission is to return men to their families whole; and

NOW THEREFORE, I, James R. Miron, Mayor of the Town of Stratford, do hereby proclaim Saturday, May 5, 2007 as Pivot Ministries Day in the Town of Stratford and congratulate all of today’s graduates. You truly are an inspiration to our community.
