PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, The Bunnell High School Girls Varsity Volleyball Team won its third consecutive CIAC Class LL State Championship; and
WHEREAS, The Bunnell High School Girls Varsity Volleyball Team finished the 2006 season with an undefeated regular season record of 25-0; and
WHEREAS, The Bunnell High School Girls Varsity Volleyball Team did not lose a single game in the 2006 state tournament; and
WHEREAS, The Bunnell High School Girls Varsity Volleyball Team is coached by Dave Jockle; and
WHEREAS, The members of the Bunnell High School Girls Varsity Volleyball Team are to be commended for not only their athletic accomplishments but for their exemplary sportsmanship.
THEREFORE, I, James R. Miron, Mayor, do hereby declare Thursday, February 15, 2007 as the Bunnell High School Girls Varsity Volleyball Team Day in the Town of Stratford and ask all townspeople to congratulate the team members and coach Dave Jockle.
