PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS, The Stratford High School Varsity Girls Basketball Team won the South West Conference Sportsmanship Award; and

WHEREAS, The Stratford High School Varsity Girls Basketball Team is coached by Gregg Dobosz and assistant coach John Campbell; and

WHEREAS, The Town of Stratford wishes next year’s captains, Molly Townsend and Ivona Patrick the best of luck as they lead the team; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Stratford Varsity Girls Basketball Team are to be commended for not only their athletic accomplishments but for their exemplary sportsmanship.

THEREFORE, I, James R. Miron, Mayor, do hereby declare Tuesday, June 19, 2007 as the Stratford High School Varsity Girls Basketball Team Day in the Town of Stratford and ask all townspeople to congratulate the team members, coach Gregg Dobosz, and assistant coach John Campbell.
