Stratford EMS to Hold 30th Anniversary Event

The Stratford Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is sponsoring a 30^th Anniversary Dinner Dance and Awards Recognition on Friday, December 14^th from 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM at the Oronoque Country Club, 385 Oronoque Lane in Stratford.

All present and past members of Stratford EMS are invited to help celebrate this significant milestone in the departments’ history. Come visit old friends, help us celebrate our past and learn more about our exciting plans for the future. The evening events will consist of dinner, dancing, award recognition and much more.

Stratford EMS Awarded 2007 Governor's Annual EMS Organization Achievement Award

Stratford EMS was presented this prestigious award at the state Capitol during National EMS Week (May 20-26).  The award is given to an EMS agency that has improved the community through public service, education and its contribution to the town, region, and state.  In accepting the award, Chief Donna Best credited the members of Stratford EMS that continually strive to provide extraordinary emergency medical care.  Mayor James Miron congratulates Stratford EMS in bringing this honor to the people of Stratford.
