Subject: Inside Out Auditions Scheduled

Auditions for the 2002-2003 Inside Out teen theatre will be held on Monday, September 23 and Tuesday, September 24, 2002 at 3:15 p.m. at Stratford Community Services, 468 Birdseye Street, Stratford. Auditions are open to all Stratford residents in grades 7-12. Interested youth are asked to bring a short story, poem or monologue to read, or one will be supplied at the audition.

After the youth are selected to be in the program, they rehearse every Monday from 3:15 p.m.– 5:00 p.m. at Stratford Community Services under the direction of Magda Skomal, executive director of Interactive Educational Theatre, Inc.

Sponsored by Stratford Community Services, Inside Out performances address topics such as peer pressure, substance abuse, and Internet safety. Inside Out performs at every Stratford elementary and middle school for students in grades five through seven.
