| Senior Services Transportation A mini-bus service is available for Stratford senior or handicapped residents needing transportation. Service is provided Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. within Stratford and the vicinity, depending on availability. Medical rides take priority and are free. In addition, rides are provided for shopping, essential errands and to the Baldwin Center. The fee for non-medical rides is $1 each way, payable when first getting on the bus. This program is intended for people who do not have any other means of transportation. Reservations Reservations are made by calling 385-4051, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All riders are required to fill out a pre-registration form which can be accessed online or requested from the office. Guidelines - Pick up times are on the hour and 1/2 hour. Please do not schedule an appointment for the quarter hour.
- Please be ready 1/2 hour before your scheduled pick up time.
- Passengers are allowed a maximum of two rides per week, depending upon availability.
- Medical rides are priority, and may be scheduled up to four months in advance . Please call as soon as you have your appointment to check on availability.
- All paying riders must pay the driver when first getting on the bus. Please have exact change. Non-medical rides are $1.00 each way, or $2.00 round trip.
- All shoppers are limited to three (3) bags.
- Non-medical rides must be scheduled one week in advance.
- When cancelling a ride, please call 24 hours in advance. If this is not possible, please call before 8:30 a.m. on the day of your ride.
