  • The Stratford Public Schools, in cooperation with the Town of Stratford Community Services, is submitting two 21st Century Community Learning Center grant applications to the Connecticut State Department of Education.  The applications are available for public review at the Board of Education Administration Center.  If funded, the Stratford Public Schools will operate 21st Century Community Learning Center Programs at Flood and Wooster Middle Schools, as well as, Bunnell and Stratford High Schools.  The District will be notified by January 2019.

The Center for Family Justice’s free and confidential services for victims of domestic violence and sexual violence are now available at the town’s Birdseye Complex. The CFJ and Town of Stratford announced the opening of a satellite office here on April 22, during Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The CFJ will have staff at Birdseye on Mondays from 2 to 6 p.m.

As of October 19, 2013, Stratford residents can now safely and properly dispose of their unused, unwanted or expired medications without endangering the environment or water supplies.  A medication drop box is located in the lobby of the Stratford Police Department at 900 Longbrook Avenue.  Medications can be dropped off any time, day or night.  Please click here for more information.
