Contact the Registrar of Voters for all information on your local, state and national elections.

Please keep in mind the following:
  1. If you are 17 years of age, and will be 18 on or before Election Day, you are eligible to register and vote.
  2. To register to vote, you have several options:
    a. Come to our office, Room 117 in Town Hall, and fill out a registration form.
    b. E-mail us at Registrars@townofstratford.com or call us at 203 385 4048 and request that we mail you a form.
    c. Register online or use this QR code:
  3. When switching from one major party to another, there is a 3 month waiting period to gain new party privilege.
  4. To change party affiliation you must fill out a new voter registration card indicating you wish to do so, and what you wish your new party to be. This can be done in person at the Registrar of Voters Office OR online.
  5. If necessary, any 2023 Republican and Democratic Primaries would be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.  Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  6. The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.   Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
