34% of Stratford High School students report getting prescription medication would be easy and 15% feel it is OK to take someone else’s prescription medication for pain management (2018 Student Survey)

To reduce access to prescription medication and provide an environmentally-friendly way to dispose of unused or expired medication, a medication drop box was installed at the Stratford Police Department Headquarters in October 2013. Over 5,000 pounds of medication has been collected and properly disposed.
